Every year Saint Malachy’s high school takes time to rent out the trade and convention center to have a formal dance before the Christmas holiday. The dance is filled with excited and energetic students. This year the Cabaret committee decided to take a different turn and have an under water theme; instead of the original Christmas decorations. In addition to prom, this is the dance that matters the most. The girls go out shopping for the perfect dress while, the boys gather up the nerve to ask that special person.

The Raffle is a fund-raiser that affects everyone in the school. That is why there are prizes for everybody! Each day a prize is awarded to a few sellers who brought in tickets that day. Prizes that have been won so far are a yearbook, movie money, three strings of bowling, Wendy’s and Burger King Gift Certificates. There are also many great prizes coming up such as Reggie’s Breakfast money and Sea Dogs tickets.
